@dirtybunny987: I welcome any new vision of the story but this isn’t what the Joker’s supposed to be like. Nolas’ Joker is creepy, tragic..but unfunny and definitely lacks in manners and style. The Joker is supposed to be polite, evil and funny, all at the same time. Nolas’ Joker is just too much of a punk. Ledger’s acting is beyond any reproach, but what Nolas envisions the Joker as is just everything the Joker isn’t.
@Fantezism Well no character in Nolas movie is EXATCLY like the comics.
Not even Batman and obviously not SCarecrow or Ras Al Ghul.

Heath sucked in this,, he just stuck his tongue out and acted like Sean Penn in I am Sam for this role,, sorry he passed away, but dont miss his acting at all… he mumbled his way through brokeback mountain to where it needed sub titles and didnt do much other than that except be in the tabloids.. he was basically a camera commercial away from being Ashton Kutcher…

..this isn’t the Joker. He looks more like a deranged Beetlejuice. The guy’s acting is good but inconsistent with the Joker’s character if you ask me.

The truth is the studio was so worried about the poor acting of heath in this movie that the propoganda started early hoping the public would buy it like blind sheep and they did.. Its a horrible performance and suitable only for tv sitcom thats about to be cancelled.
