Sorry, brother! I posted another one without the music. I thought it helped it to move a little. But evidently it’s causing more queasiness than it’s worth. Thanks for the honesty.
the bloody music dude…
@wavemonkey69 Hey wavemonkey… glad you enjoyed the video. Ventriloquist act eh? Cool! Send me your email and I’ll send you an exercise to show you how this concept can be used to build dialogue between you and your dummy. I had a student in class who was a ventriloquist and it worked for him. Maybe you could apply it too!
@nohackcomics Glad you liked the music. Yeah, it’s a long video! But I wanted to show unedited, exactly how my writing process works. I’m really glad it helped you. I agree, being broke does help you write more comedy. One of the oldest comedy structures is simply “a man trying to get from point A to point B and encountering obstacles…” being broke can be quite a motivating obstacle. Thanks for your wonderful comment!
I like the music. Kept me awake. But, WOW, you helped me add 2 tags to one of my bits in less than 2 minutes! This is gold, man!!!! Thanks for posting this for free! As soon as I’m not as broke as I am, I’m taking your paid courses! Being broke is actually keeping me funny, but I’m looking forward to learning more from you! Great job!
@glaciermoon Ha! Great comment! I will make the adjustment and re-post. I thought it helped it move a little better, but it turns out that it just make the blood vessels in your head explode… Thanks for the honesty…
The aneurysm-inducing background music makes an otherwise great video unfuckingwatchable
Excellent!! Just what I needed to get me started writing original jokes and adapting them to my ventriloquist act. It’s so much easier to understand and put into practice when you can see it being done first-hand and hear the thought process behind it at the same time. Thanks very much!!
