He has a good point, It really does help. It’s good to see someone in expertvillage actually have knowledge of what they’re talking about.

Good point about foundation Chris. However just writing jokes does not require a strong emotional point of view or foundation. Coming up with a good personalized comedy routine does, however. I can write jokes all day about any given topic just by looking at the topic and challenging myself to write the jokes. How do you do that?

Oh man. I always felt there might have been a gap in some of my act. I’m writing this down for sure. lol

Oh I love this. He just explained the 10 year foundation of material I’ve been building yet never performed as stand-up comedy. Fun.

aha its true, chris tucker always started his sets with “im pissed off”

camoflaugetampex November 2, 2011 at 7:14 pm

doesn’t this guy play bass for Ted Nugent? i usually show my balls through my zipper during my set for the first 2 minutes then i act like i didn’t know and act really ashamed about it and cry. It usually gets hard laughs (specially from the folks up front!) ;)

WHAT IS THE DEAL

IH8WRONGPPL November 2, 2011 at 11:24 pm

Jerry Seinfeld mastered the point of view of confusion…. Eg. “What is the deal with ______”
